PA is a resin widely used in the production of flexible packaging films, in most cases combined with polyolefins as a component of multilayer structures. Polyamides can be processed into films, oriented or unoriented, by blown or cast film processes. Standard extrusion equipment can be used, however, post-treatment by humidification or annealing helps to post-crystallize the PA film and obtain dimensionally stable, ready-to-use high-quality films.
